We apply a holistic and christian approach to Women and Children empowerment and development. We focus on helping the most vulnerable women, children, orphans and widows among others to reduce poverty and transform their lives using a Christian based approach.
DLTC International is a Christian charity organisation composed of Christians whose mission is to follow the King of Kings and Saviour Jesus Christ in working with widows, orphans and most vulnerable women including single mothers. Our mission is to deliver help and give hope to the poor and suffering (Leviticus 19:9-10). “When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Do not go over your vineyard a second time or pick up the grapes that have fallen. Leave them for the poor and the foreigners. I am the Lord your God.” Therefore we promote human transformation, seek justice and proclaim good news to the poor (Isaiah 61:1) “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”
To contribute to early recovery, the economic recovery and promotion of the societies, and through training, economic empowerment, and empowerment of youth and women programmes. Encourage women to join and participate in different forums that could promote economic independence and empowerment. Coordination and contribution to the emergency, humanitarian aid, and long-term development. To contribute to meeting emergency, relief, and development needs by forming effective relationships and networking with local and international donors.
A holistic community view; holding the spiritual and material together not only in ministry but in our own understanding of the world. Transformational Development that is community-based with a goal that is beyond seeking to see material social, spiritual, physical transformation of vulnerable women and children. Partnerships with local and international churches to contribute to spiritual and social transformation. Public Awareness that leads to informed understanding, giving, involvement and prayer sessions.
DLTC puts its focus on vulnerable women, girls and orphans at the centre of its work. This is because in order to overcome poverty, income inequalities all people need to have equal opportunities and rights.
